This effect causes Magic Damage over Time. It can be inflicted by the weapons and Combat Arts of opponents and the player. It is NOT caused by the Secondary Damage Effect of Magic known as Weaken.

It is important to note that neither Armor nor Damage Mitigation can protect against Damage over Time: Magic. The most effective way to resist this effect is to use the modifier Damage Over Time: Magic -X%.

Availability of Damage Over Time: Magic -X% as an Item Modifier

This modifier will reduce the amount of Magic damage over time the player suffers by a percentage.
