The Shadow Warrior is also capable of applying a more strategic and agile close combat style that relies less on sheer strength and armor and more on dexterity and tactics. The Shadow Warrior of this aspect is a skilled, agile and battle-hardened warrior, disregarding magic use in favor of physical attacks.

This attack consists of a quick succession of strikes directed at one or more targets. Further developments of this combat art include an increased number of strikes or better aim of the hits.

The Shadow Warrior leaps purposefully towards his target.

A stationary banner which increases defense and attack values for every party member within its range.

The Shadow Warrior launches himself into a state of battle frenzy, where every successful hit stores additional damage up to a maximum value. The amassed damage is released in one or several mighty discharges.

Reflective aura with a certain chance to mirror close combat damage back at the attacker.

The Hell Hound for the Malevolent Champion has orange bony plates covering its skin. The Ice and Blood version of this special mount has unique armor with bone spikes.
Bonuses and Penalties
Like all special mounts, this Hound gives a large bonus to the rider's hitpoints and defense at the cost of increasing the regeneration penalty of combat arts.
However, this aspect mount gives a special bonus which offsets the regeneration penalty to Malevolent Champion. Therefore, the Malevolent Champion will desire this Hound. Combined with the Riding skill, this mount may make it seem as if there is almost no penalty whatsoever!
Denderan's Tactical Genius is a set specially focused on the Malevolent Champion aspect, giving bonuses to all five combat art levels and their regeneration times. Speed and careful execution are reaped when an armor wrought with such malevolence is worn. Many of the Shadow Warrior's characteristics that this set will boost will create in him a super fast killing machine! Primarily melee with a hint of spell makes this set especially nice for hybrids.
